I will admit to being one of the most poorly organized people on the face of the planet. For some reason, no matter how hard I try to remember everything and organize it all, I always end up forgetting something or being unable to find something. It seems to be a very common trait among artists that we are completely unable to organize our lives in even the slightest ways. I personally have no problems with this, however it seems to drive the great majority of my family completely insane. They operate on a theory that most normal people seem to have. That is, that each task should be done all at once and that they must be done within a certain time limit and any time that you are not actively or physically working on a task there is no progress occurring. By contrast, I operate on a somewhat more relaxed system known as the "In progress" system. My system involves the concept that as long as the project is in progress or is being thought about ( Which constitutes progress. ), there's no problems as far as I'm concerned. After all, I am making some sort of progress, right? I'll have time tomorrow or maybe the next day to actually put that thing together. Unless I decide to go out and take photos, in which case, maybe next week or something. Either way, I'm thinking about it and thinking is progress. I might come up with a better way to do it in that time. This system drives my family absolutely nuts, because everything I do is always in progress. I have at the moment, several large school desks which look to be from about 1950 sitting in my garage, simply because I am working on the mock-ups to turn them into sculptures. Never mind that they've been there for several weeks and haven't moved, I made sketch of one of the creatures to go along with them recently ( Maybe a week ago or something. Time spent isn't too important. ). That means I'm progressing and I can't stop the project now since I'm still making progress. There are massive piles of paper on my desk from all the various things I'm working on at the moment, and my family has threatened to simply set the desk on fire, despite the possibility that it could spread to the rest of the house and potentially leave us without a home. They often make such erroneous claims as that they can not locate various things like the TV remote, car keys, dog, etc. because of my mess. But I think they're lying. I know exactly where all that stuff is.

It's in the papers on my desk, and right now I'm making progress on getting it back for them.
