While I have never personally had to file a restraining order, ( Now that I've admitted this, somebody will likely make it a major goal for themselves. ) I can imagine all sorts of fun that could be had with it if they allowed fill-in-the-blanks ( Can you say "No pants allowed within 500 feet of person"? ). Admittedly, I probably wouldn't restrict poetry seeing as how I don't really recall the last time I was serenaded by a girl with a rendition of Midsummer's Night, ( Or for that matter, the last time I was ever serenaded by anyone. Maybe the people I know just aren't the serenading type. Perhaps they're more fond of sonnets. ) but for that matter, so long as people aren't taking their clothes off and making lewd gestures in the local mall's Disney Store for my attention, I'm not particularly likely to take note of those sorts of things, much less be bothered by them. So I'm probably not the most likely candidate to be handing out restraining orders ( So let's not try to get one from me, ok? ). I do have to admit though, if they were original with the whole stalking thing ( Maybe see how long they could go following me in a giant chipmunk costume before I caught on. ) and we didn't have too many "bloody kitchen knife stuck in my bed" incidents, I'd probably be the one to disappear on them, only to reappear right behind them to see if they wanted to go out for margaritas and dinner with a few friends ( And then to an after dinner show of me puking on my shoes because margaritas make me sick. ). In all likelihood, they'd probably meet the sort of people who seem to become webcartoonists and writers, and decide that they should probably file that restraining order themselves. Mostly because once we break out the sharpies things tend to get a little crazy and you can never be too sure if that margarita was one drink too many.
We can't help that we have a low tolerance though, we're too busy pawing through your underwear drawer for poetic inspiration to be drinking.
