Yes, I'm a horrible cartoonist these days. Admittedly, my update schedule went to hell a long time ago and it unfortunately doesn't look like it's going to stabilize any time soon. I'm still going to try and get stuff up as often as possible, but I don't feel comfortable promising anything or even saying I'm updating often enough to call this a comic ( I'll have to invent a word for "sporadically updating website that primarily contains pictoral content". ).

But what I can promise is that the next page of Last Words is going to be a large departure from it's current gag-a-day/month format. I've been wanting to share a story that's been forming in my mind since the 100th page short I did about Dee's Gameboy. This isn't going to be that last story I told some of you would be coming at some point. I have no clue when or even if I'm even going to do that at this point. However, instead this is going to be something for my own sanity. That being because, the way I write and tell a story has changed and trying to force things takes the fun out of doing this work. I've got a number of ideas that are more involved than a single panel or strip can do justice properly. The fact of the matter is that I'm not too fond of repeating jokes ( On the occasions I catch myself doing it. ) and I'm beginning to feel like that's what's happening. So add that to the fact that there's a little more of the Chicle's world I'd like to share with you, and it equals what I have planned. So this is likely to be the last single panel joke I do in this format for a while unless I come up with one I just can't not share. That being said, and as nervous as I am about changing things up this much, this far in, I hope you'll stick with me as I attempt to do the ideas in my head justice and try this out.
