The background in the last panel is a real picture of a supposed UFO, caught dramatically in military spotlights and being shelled during the WW2 years. Look up The Battle of Los Angeles, and not the Rage Against the Machine album. That UFO picture is the desktop wallpaper on my work computer. It struck me as something Fox Mulder would have had in his office in the X-Files.
