I awoke this morning to find that my computer (a Dell Inspiron 1505 laptop) can no longer recognize the AC power adapter. It can still run off AC power, but claims the battery will no longer charge and that the computer will be slower. I'm thinking about buying a new power cord but suspect that it will end up being a motherboard issue, which totally blows. This seems to be a common problem with Dell laptops. And my warranty is expired. Can anyone offer advice/tech support?
