The Twin Starfire seemed like the natural predecessor to the Stardefender "200" the Gemini twins are assigned to later. Both sport the twin cockpit design and two yellow astronauts. The Twin Starfire is a fairly rare and expensive set, but I was able to assemble it much more cheaply by buying the parts from a couple different sellers on Bricklink.
