This comic calls back to (and conflates, honestly) two incidents from very early in the comic (in "Shootin' the Solar Breeze" and "Indiana Schwartz and the Raiders of the Lost Video Tape").

I recently acquired the "Despecialized" editions of the Star Wars movies, created by fans who wanted to restore the films to their theatrical versions in HD. I am so enthused and relieved to have these, as it seems like Lucas and Disney are not planning to release them. I can now watch the ending of "Return of the Jedi" again without wincing. Old Anakin and "Yub-Nub" are back where they rightfully belong, and Darth Vader no longer has to melodramatically say, "No… Noo.." to underscore a dilemma in his conscience which was already painfully obvious.
