Drag Kings (Part 47)

Late to the party, but I finally watched controversial movie "The Interview" since it arrived back on Netflix. My wife was a little puzzled as to why I was laughing SO uproariously. I even surprised myself. And then it hit me why.

The two main characters, played by James Franco and Seth Rogen, are essentially Schwartz and Galanos (at least as I see them) placed in a different setting.

Franco's Dave Skylark possesses bloated self-confidence, immaturity, slight naivety, shocking irreverence, questionable ethics, an impulsive nature and offbeat humor, just like Commander Schwartz. They've both also elevated to high-profile jobs which are a questionable fit for their personalities. Commander Galanos and Rogen's Aaron Rapaport are both loyal friends, technically proficient, intelligent but lacking self-esteem, level-headed and reserved, a little unlucky with the ladies and tend to alternate between keeping their best buddy in check and getting talked into their schemes.

How could I not love this movie?
