Modular Space Transport (#6892) was one of the classic LEGO Space sets I clearly remember having as a child. I have many good (and clear!) memories of playing with that set and building it into other ships. I had this crazy modular ship with like 10 individual components, like it was Vehicle Voltron or something. I think there's a photo of it somewhere in my Mom's old albums!

In any case, Modular Space Transport was of course one of the sets I most wanted to own again, but the prices were prohibitive. I eventually found one for an acceptable cost, in great shape, and complete with the original instructions. And it was perfect timing, because I needed commentators for Schwartz's and Galanos' game of lunar soccer golf!
