Time Bomb (Part 65)

Sometimes, over the course of the comic, I've sensed that certain stories or moments aren't working as well as I had hoped or intended. And it gets amplified with the decompressed storytelling style I've adopted, which is largely a factor of trying to maintain an update schedule by setting a certain amount of strips (usually 6-8) in one location so I can photograph several weeks' worth in one night. I can only hope that it all holds together and makes sense by the time I reach the end of the story, and readers can see what I was aiming for as a whole (even though it takes months to reach that goalpost). I do try to absorb comments and criticism and factor it all into the next stories I have planned. I'm trying to figure out how to break down plots and scenes a little differently. I purposefully wrote the Schwartz and Galanos section of "Time Bomb" a little more like the comic used to be, faster-paced, more quippy, more random hanging out and adventures.
