Been a while, but for a reason.
Finally quit my job back in April. Figured the amount of verbal abuse from customers, incompetent management and being completely overwhelmed on a regular basis wasn't worth $17 an hour. But even though it was over the damage had already been done. I think it's fair to say that retail gave me PTSD because I started experiencing panic attacks and sensory overloads just getting groceries and normal social situations. It's been about three weeks but know I'm not out of the woods just yet and it'll take more time to recover from it all. Big thank you to everyone who's been supporting me through it all, because I'm not stopping doing art anytime soon.
