In the last panel, Auggie is quoting from Sirach (also called Ecclesiasticus), one of the Deuterocanonical books. I searched the whole Bible to find the most out-of-context sexist passage I could find. In its original context, the author warns his male readers to avoid marrying wicked women. The church would later take the passage out of context as a "proof text" that Eve was the sole one responsible for the corruption of the human race.
