Life Like Weeds

Gardenhead: 14: Emos Beware
Mazoo onAlright folks, I've got a few things to tell you about. I'll start with the whiny bad stuff first, just to get it over with:
I don't like this page. I think I had a good idea of what it was supposed to be in thumbnail form, but I just didn't execute it properly. Dan doesn't stay consistent and I don't like the way Tess (the goth/emo girl at the bottom) looks. I also messed up on the stairs. Oops.
But that doesn't mean I hate everything about this page. I tried some new tricks and fooling around with PSP (which loves to stall and slow down whenever it feels like) and I think I succeeded in some aspects. How are you guys liking the words-are-almost-too-big-for-the-speech-bubble-when-someone-yells thing? I sort of like it. (But maybe that's because it makes it easier on me instead of the SPEECH EXPLOSIONS I've been doing before. And it takes up less space).
However, the former reasons lead into my big bulletin:
This is the last page you will be seeing of it's kind of Life Like Weeds. As I said, I can't keep Dan's style consistent, and I think a lot of the art needs changing. However, that doesn't mean I'm going to be deleting all of the archive I have, nor does it mean Life Like Weeds is stopping.
It just needs a bit of an overhaul, is what.
So tune in next week, where you'll see the changes.
In other news, I just finished House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski. It was alright, I guess. I've moved onto the play "A Streetcar Named Desire" by Tennessee Williams for some research about a play I'm writing for school.
That's about it, actually. See you all next week!
P.S. It's April and it's freaking snowing where I live! I'm sick of all this crappy cold weather… blegh! Stupid Wisconsin.
