One of my all time favourite legends is that told in the tale "Journey To The West", and pretty much my favourite character is the legend that is The Monkey King. This is the character who pretty much invented the term "Ape S***" :)
He once was declared a god and pretty happy until he found out his godly duties were a menial task, which Steve seems to have reminded him of. And yeah, I think this is the calmest reaction the Monkey King could give.
