This is Chaos' brother Fate, who records what happens to all of reality.. Chaos is the only one who Fate doesn't record, possibly because he has such a light grasp on reality as it is..

And generally, if Fate doesn't know that there's someone at his door, then that someone would have to be Chaos, being the only unrecorded entity and all..
