That's pretty much true about Platen Presses.. I use one every day at work. It doesn't quite have the fifteen safeguards, but it's still more or less safe as long as I don't do something stupid with it.. Which I don't intend to be, even though the Health and Safety laws seem to believe I'm damn well going to be an idiot. This joke actually came about in my head when I was talking to our Health and Safety manager at work, I accidentally hit my hand on one of the safety guards, and then laughed and complained that it wasn't very safe.. I know it doesn't seem like much, but when you're breathing in as many solvent fumes as I am from ink and cleaning fluids, most ANYTHING is funny..

Sorry about the timing on this one.. I'm suspecting the fluids are involved again..
