If you've not been reading the Blackest Night story arc being run by DC at the moment (I wouldn't blame you, but it is kinda fun) then you'd have to know that Aquaman's dead at this point… and something's reanimating the bodies of dead heroes, villains and their families for some undefined reason.. Aquaman is one of those reanimated corpses.. Which I personally find hilarious since it takes his stupendous and legendary superhuman ability to breathe underwater and make it utterly pointless due to the fact that he's already dead.
