ok well before anyone gets hot:

1st I'm not making fun of birth defects..Allen was born with only one hand..
2nd Betrix is his bossy older sister and he is messing with her..and trying to keep her from looking for drake for just a little longer…
3rd the one way the LWd world is ahead of our in tenology is medical. Allen's hand normaly functions like a normal hand…
Q: why have someone with one arm in a story?
A:well why not..Allen is one of the heros of this story, heros are not alway flawless and some of my real heros are missing a few parts..

and I'll get back to lan and the vampires soon..its a complex story..let me know if it gets to complex k?
