long post on complicated people…and story lines..drake and I debated the next few pages a lot. i was for lan trying to kill walter again.to take back his magic..but drake wanted a easy way at it.( as we need the story to move faster.)

so why people act as they do: lan is the kind of guy who would tell you he was sorry and then dose it again. but he is also is trying to figure out his place in the world. walter has mellowed with age..and is now trying make up for his past sins. Walter see Lan as a replacement of sorts for his little brother and maybe as the child he and hana never had.. but he also views Lan as a place to find blood when he wants it or needs it fast.
finally to address a Q : no walter and Lan are not lovers. though wellingly sharing blood would have to form a close bond between two people. Walter feed his blood to lan way back in the first of this story. as for walters love life: walter had a female lover in the last story two of them at the same time. and no HM Hana is dead and wont be back in this story. "vampire questions" was a pg13 story with a darker plot..LWD is tamer story. if would not want my aunt and kids to read it wont be posted here..
