never more is a refrance to the "raven" by Edgar Allan Poe

it goes on and on.. the raven drives him insain and he kills himself. poe is always so cheerful.

on vampires and humans:
"snack food" is a human a vampire gets a quick meal off of and leaves behind .. such humans normaly dont remember it happening..
"pets" are humans that a vampire choose to keep as both a quick meal , someone to keep watch by day.. and more often then not as a lover. spencer is suggesting that walter is using lan for something other then blood. and this is why Lan tried to kill walter and later fake his own death.. ba-ga is of corse one of lan's pet find a few more in notebook

Walter however is factering in reincarnation as his bass for his relationship with lan. and why he has chosen to become Lans keeper.
