…and climb the nearest mountain in order to pick a flower! Now we can't say Pulse is the only one whose brain is muddled.

And the reason for Liz's earlier comment about Pulse keeping his clothes becomes apparent when he wakes up to find his leaf-clothing all but eaten through by bugs. Despite what he says, his wound healed up on its own - the leaves did nothing. Accelerated healing is another of Pulse's as-of-yet undiscovered abilities. We'll get back to that eventually.
