Pulse seems to have changed colors, hasn't he? For a second, he changed over to his demon-like alternate form, more dragon than hedgehog. That happens when he uses too much of his powers. If he'd kept using his power, eventually the runes on his spikes would've dissapaeared entirely, and then things would've gotten interesting. But there's plenty of time for that later.

The flower didn't work the way she thought it would. Big surprise. Now Liz has to find some other way to unneccessarily risk her life.
