Because of the load of extra schoolwork I've taken on this semester, I haven't had as much time to work on Lifeblood as I would like. I faced the choice of either slowing my submission rate or cutting back on some part of the comic. I chose to switch over to cel-shading in order to maintain the five-day-per-week update schedule.

Over the summer, when things cool down, I might feel like going back to the more detailed shading. For now, we'll have something similar to the style seen in the first three issues of Lifeblood. Not such a monumental change, if you ask me. =)

Next week we accelerate Serena's journey toward stardom, and get to meet Kitsune and the Kopykats. Believe me, they're not as harmless as they sound. =3 Stay tuned!
