And here it is, the final page of this three page update, not to mention the final page of this phase. This page was a little awkward due primarily to Prime exhibiting concern for Mira.

Not much to say about this page I suppose, aside from Prime's behavior, as mentioned above. As you may remember, Light said back on page 18 that Prime is basically incapable of feeling emotion. This is technically true, Prime is incapable of feeling emotions, but not expressing them. Anytime he shows anything other than irritation (which, in and of itself is not really an emotion) he is faking it or one of the other Lockres is in control to some degree. He is capable of feeling concern for other's well-being though, he just lacks the emotions that would normally go along with such concern. However, this does tend to lead to awkward sounding statements (see the last panel).
By the same token, concern for others does not translate to 'friends' in his mind, he just views it as logical from his moral standpoint (and explaining that would take up at least a page in and of itself). Mira is something more to him now though, he is just not sure what since he lacks the emotional aspect that is implied by friendship. To him it is more of a personal investment: Mira is someone who he can trust and talk to. I hope that makes sense…

Next Wednesday begins a new phase: Forging a Friendship, and I can guarantee it will be on time because it is already loaded and set to go live on Wednesday.
