BASO Review, Episode I: The Phantom Grimace 3/5

El Cid sez: Reviewing is hazardous work! We both really liked the characters, and how they're all so unique and fleshed out. I thought that most of them aren't very likable at this point, but they're all very interesting, and will probably grow on me as their stories develop.

Reviewer Quotes:

Of the characters, I was drawn quite quickly to Margery.  She feels so real as a person, with a certain amount of ignorace of the real world without seeming naive.  Harriet is also an interesting character, though her part of the story doesn't seem to like to stay focused on her.  I wanted to enjoy Stavlov (due to his prominence at the beginning), but he hasn't been developed much, and I find more interest in his "villain"–I will always put that in questionable terms because the relationship between the two could still go either way, really.
