One night I was walking home from the pub across fields much like the ones depicted here, and across the field a saw a large black shape running. I thought it was a deer, there are a lot of them in that area after all. It ran towards me and it became clear it wasn't a deer, I never found out what it was as I legged it but to my drunken mind it was either a large black dog or a black panther. The dog is more likely to be honest, but it helped inspire this story so please raise a glass to the scary black dog/panther thing.
