Drannik & Lizzep: Meet the substitute teacher

“I was reading things at random, as I'm wont to do, when I saw this story involving the late Dolores O'Riordan, lead singer for The Cranberries. After reading that, I thought ‘that sounds exactly like something Lizzep would do and say, and at about the same age.’ It gave me the idea to make a short little comic: the first original Drannik & Lizzep piece of material I've made since issue #7 wrapped up about two years ago.

To further the ‘Cranberries’ connection, panels 3 and 4 use two different Cranberries album covers, heavily altered, as the background. I'll bet a superfan might be able to figure them out.”
