Here we meet Miss Casandra Jones, Koku's History Teacher. And Koku is in trouble. The idea of this spirit inhabiting the ring came from my random drawing of Koku seeing her own reflection in the mirror. As it is with how I work, I tend to give into whims…and that lead to the odd secret of the ring here. In the previous page, she was initially reffered to as 'Yami" which, in Japanese is Darkness or Shadow..but..as it seemed a bit close to something going on in another Manga / Anime, I altered it to 'Kokoro'. ..which ties into the summoning phrase uttered whne Koku transforms.
