017 - Crazies

In my book, creepy is a form of crazy. Wouldn't you agree? And maybe that goth might come back later (She was fun to draw)

A little trivia now. This is actually most likely the page I have rewritten the most times out of any comic I've ever done. Originally it was about the girl getting to know the cat and robot head, but then that got boring and the robot looked weird in panel two.

I then decided to make this another example of why this is called 'Living With insanity' because the neighbours are weird too. But the changes didn't stop there. The package guy was supposed to be taller and have a cod piece with a large erection attached, until I realised that was weirder than the last panel.

At long last, it was inked and scanned. I went through four colour schemes before picking these. And last but not least, the dialogue was dissected the most of all these processes. I actually don't fully write a script until I reach the lettering stage, I just have a vague idea.

So yeah, that's what I was doing while you guys were getting drunk and singing Auld Land Syne and making out. Hey, New Year's for me was 17 hours ago. I've had my fun and got to do it earlier than most of you.

In any case, hope 2009 is good for you guys.
