052 - Getting Cocky

I love being able to use the word cock in a sentence and have it not mean anything dirty. Just the looks you get. And yes, I am very immature.

I've always been a fan of webcomics with a big archive. But more so I like webcomics that have been going on for years. Don't get me wrong, I love ones that started up in the recent years, but there's just something about the long-running stuff. It's like, you finally get to it after years of never noticing it, and then you have these hundreds, maybe thousands, of updates you've missed out on.

And when I'm done, I go back to re-read. But for some reason, the year I keep heading to is 2004 (This is for comics that started in 2003 and earlier). I don't know what it is about that year, but it has my favourite strips and story arcs. It was the year I got internet (Not the year I got into webcomics, that was 2005) and it seems to hold my favourite stuff. Does this mean if I had gotten into webcomics right away 2003 would be my favoruite year?

So out of curiousity, what's your favourite type of webcomic? Strip or story? New or long-running? Updates a lot or weekly?
