It's amazing what weird things you can come up with when you just sit still for half an hour. Also, look at that, we've finally given you a naked Alice.
I think the most important thing about being a writer is practicing your skills. I have a lot of people who see me starting up another project just shake their head and mutter under their breath about how I'm going to kill myself with exhaustion. Or at least make my head explode. But I personally see it as a chance to stretch my wings.
With the pilot for my drama series written up (Well, it's more action) I realised I enjoy writing screenplays. Having said that, I've decided I want to do something fun, short and animated so I can lots of weird stuff happen. I want to write internet cartoons.
Here's the basic premise. About ten years into the future, the President travels to Nevada desert to watch them try out a new weapon. Unfortunately, the demonstration is attacked. The battle is over in seconds, but somehow the weapon got activated. It fires and lands in Hollwood during the Oscars and Grammies, which have been put on the same weekend for some reason. Every celebrity dies, but they don't stay dead, they become zombies. Los Angeles is evacuated and then cut off from America. But, four nerds were left behind because they wanted to finish their game of Halo first. The cartoons revolve around them as they try to make a life in a post-apocalyptic LA.
Now all I need are some voice actors and a team of animators. Then we can make cartoons, sell shirts and maybe get rich by making 5-10 minute cartoons (A 30 minute cartoon would take ages to load and months to make, which is why I won't do that). Any volunteers?
