070 - Launch Part Two

Yay, he finally has a body… that's pretty useless.

Well, I've decided to get back into writing prose fiction, which was always my life long dream. Yeah, I love writing comics, and I find them easier to write, but I think one should chase their childhood ambitions while they still remember them. Unfortunately, my imagination is too wild to do reality based literature, so I have to delve into fantasy and horror. So, here's the pitch.

Set in Sydney, a man wakes up in Town Hall station to discover that while he was in a coma, everything went to hell. The survivors tell him that outside are a bunch of monstrous silhouettes that attack anyone and anything. People, pets, buildings, cars, nothing safe from these things, except anything connected to the train lines. For some reason, they fear the rails, the stations, buildings connected to the station and the trains themselves. They then travel the lines, looking for answers and other survivors.

I was going to do a zombie plot, but then I decided "Nah, too over done" so I'm making up my own creatures (Or trying to, anyway. Stephen King or someone else probably beat me to it). I might do some zombie stories later though, they seem like fun.
