"Hey David, I have an idea for you grow as a writer, express your views on extremist animal rights groups!" "I dunno, that might alienate people." "Then throw in some butt sex jokes."

So yeah, I'm finally getting political. I tried to show both sides of the story, but I think my bias shines through for the sake of crazy shit happening. If you've ever watched Chasing Amy, take a look at the 'Inking/tracing' bit (It's on Youtube if you haven't seen it). That inker has to have given the worst argument against the idea that inkers aren't just tracing the work, while the other guys just say he's a tracer and he barely makes a good comment. As a colourist, I love good inkers. They help me realise where the light source is and also allow me to deliver a crisper, clearer picture. For webcomics, let's go with Jay Naylor. Guy doesn't even give the opposing side an argument, they just shut up because they can't fight back when the main character states their view, usually yelling.

But don't worry, I'm not going to be Tatsuda Ishida and make everything about how we're poisoning the earth and whatever. This is once in a blue moon stuff. I'm here to entertain you guys, not force what I think down your throats. And yes, I know these rants tend to be me speaking my mind, but that's just me blogging, not comicking. The rant is where I tell you what I think, the comic is where you get your fun. And that's how it should be.
