FIRST AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

If you sent me fan art for the publishing of Lola, please send me any information you'd like to go with that picture! For example: Name, Age, Website, or anything else you might think is important. Keep it fairly short though, please. And the sooner you get this to me, the sooner the book will be for sale!!!

I finally had a proper and extremely emotional converstion with my mother about how middle school and highschool totally ruined my life. I always subconciously knew that it was the source of all my mental hangups, but actually saying it outloud to someone and not clouded in a webcomic felt really really good.

It's amazing how as we grow up we try to pretend that those years weren't the most horrific of our lives. And we somehow are surprised when we hear such things about cheerleaders getting away with murder (hopefully not literally), or the outcast kids shooting up their classmates (and perhaps, ironically, not getting away with murder).

Well, I'm focusing on the bad here, and there is of course some merrit to school, like learning, and making friends, and living a pretty carefree life. All good things, right?! Right. But, what I'm mostly trying to say here is, especially to all my readers who are still in highschool: Don't ignore it, don't forget about it, but just move on. Make sure you have a proper resolution to your highschool years and live your life however you damn please afterwards.

And if you do turn out like I did, I seriously recommend drawing a webcomic about it. ^_^
