…hmmm…is it bad that I feel awkward about adding people as my friends on this new fancy pants profile page? I mean, am I right to presume certain people are my "friend" and therefore I can just add them? What if they don't want me to add them? What if this friendship was just a delusion? What if I'm the biggest jerk ever? Or worse, the saddest jerk ever……..? Will people think I'm pathetic and am desperately trying to insist upon their friendship? Will they think that I think they are pathetic and am pittying them by adding them as my friend? I'm so torn by these ridiculous thoughts that I don't know what to do! Or will I be an even bigger jerk by NOT adding anyone as a friend!? Are people who are my friends offended by me not immediately adding them to my list of DD profile friends and will I know, therefore, lose them as my friends?!!! Gah! *HEAD EXPLODES!!!!*
