Just as The Lord of Storms has a nickname, Spiral, so does The Lord of Night. He goes by Hollow. He is the god of all dark places, from a cave devoid of light to the dark thoughts that dwell in all people… Where Spiral's domain include the air and the sea, Hollow's include the earth and the night.

I based their relationship a bit on a story I read about the Hawaiian volcano goddess Pele and her sister Namaka O Kahai, goddess of the sea. Essentially, they got into a tiff, and Pele escaped to her volcano island, but Namaka just washed that island away. Then, Pele ran to another volcano island (or makes another one), but of course Namaka washed that one away, too. This goes on for a while, and at some point, Namaka takes a break, but she's still angry and will eventually come after Pele again. In the end, Namaka is going to erode away all the islands, and she will win. Everybody knows it. It's just a matter of time.
