theorah onThank you for your kind comments, guys! :) ahaha SoItBegins, I was going to create a more gruesome ending, but planning a long con is a nice idea, I will keep that in mind and do a bit of tweaking to the ending!! Azerisii: lol! Ive been in that situation before :p aahh the perks of living away from parents!
Please excuse my raving:
today I went to *le gasp* London!! I went to see a production of The Magic Flute, a Mozart opera, it was great! And the theater was so old and lovely! Afterwards I was going to see some friends, but I got out much later then expected, so instead wondered around the West End for a while, man I love the West End! all of the buildings and backstreets are 100s of years old, and people back it up by selling vintage thngs such as old engravings or photos. Convent garden is my favorite art of West End, its the one place where you can get an entire gig/concert/performance for free. people just set themselves up in little areas surrounded by seats and let the public watch them for free! I went to the Drury Lane theater and took a peek through the stage door which was slightly ajar (Oliver! is playing at the moment, and rowan atkinson is playing fagin, I was hoping I would spot him, alas no such luck!) I also discovered that close to the Papageno Cafe, there is a Saratro restaurant (these are two characters from The Magic Flute!) To top things off, I went into a shop that has been around for hundereds of years, The lady who owns it told me that Mozart had his hair cut in the shop when he was 7. The shop sold lots of engravings/pictures/clippings from chapbooks and penny dreadfuls (the medievil/victorian equivalent to comicbooks and small magazines), some were over 500 years old, I got two Victorian pictures from there for only £12!! 0_0
…as you can tell, I love going to London, to me its the heart of England and all its cultural wonders :) Looking around the backstreets today I realise I do one thing wrong in this comic, I dont give enough emphasis on the setting. London has so much history embedded in its achitecture, if I were to do the comic again I would go about it differently in visual terms to show off that part a bit more.
