When she referred to things changing, its because of the time it is set in. Skip this part if you find history boring XD the main story is set in the early 1850s, when things were really, really crap in London, aside from the upper class, everyone else was living in their own filth, literally. I remember reading a passage where someone described a stream in East London that was now pure black stinky sludge, with stains down window sides traveling into it! eeew… anyway, in the 1860s/late 1850s the upper class finally decided to stop ignoring the problem and recruit police, give kids jobs/homes, and get a proper sewage system going, which is what older Amelia was referring to..

another short story! this time set 10ish years in the past! Do you recognize this face? ;D Its fun trying to draw characters younger/older, and still keep their features!
