And so endeth the chapter.Wasn't that a jolly little tale of necromancy, friendship and a deadbeat dad.Lore will return before long, see monday, with a new chapter. I may post some related art work up over the weekend as well.Yes, Luana is leaving the group, but it isn't the last we will see of her.The cast of this comic will be fairly changeable. Some will live, some will die, some may only be around a short while. When I first started Lore I had been in a creative funk for some time and to be honest the characters were bare bones but I had a lot of ideas for how I might develop them.
Calisa was to be the tough female warrior, but I didn't want her to be beautiful or lady like. She's not the easiest character to relate to but she is also front and centre with the comic as leader of the group.
Brogan was always going to be a druid of sorts, but not your typical tree hugging druid. More of a man of action than you might expect and a little animalistic, which comes from his shape shifting abilities.
Luana was a last minute addition, I simply wanted another female character. if using a typical role playing game class I suppose she would be a bard. Being Brogans daughter she has learned a few things from him but they aren't alike. As I've stated before, there was a good chance she wasn't going to survive the first story.
Stakken, the obligatory wizard. Again I wanted to deviate from the normal old frail wizard type, but how?By not being a wizard, but having magical type gifts and being a bit of an enigma.
Davin was always going to be cannon fodder, a cocky little jerk who gets himself killed. Only I didn't kill him and I decided a different direction entirely.
