So now we catch up with the others, who are taking a different path, on foot.
Aren't I evil shifting the action like this?  
Stakken has always been vague about what he is magic wise, having stated he is not a sorcerer or a Magi. 
The difference being that sorcerers have inate powers, it comes from within.  A Magi/wizard or what have you uses spells which are learned.  Then there is the whole "wight" thing.
