I do it all the time. I'm not a leader, I hate having to be in charge, I'd much rather be a follower with some freedom.

That reminds me of the time I was almost "kidnapped".
You see, I declared myself a minion to one of my friends at some point. We had some fun with that, and one day a small group of us was going to see a movie together. e went to the cinema, had some fun, and when it was finished we was in no hurry. at some point two of the others began considering "kidnapping" me, and I said they couldn't because I was a minion, and I'd fight back if they tried to steal me away from my Overlord. Spo they asked him if they could borrow me, and he said yes. (I made them promise him they would return me in the same condition they borroed me in, just to be "safe") so one of them grabbed me around both wrists and we all went down to the cellar (one of the others carrying my stuff) where the car the two of them came in were parked. They considered putting me in the trunk of said car, and since I've always wondered what it felt like to be kidnapped that way, I said "sure, let's see if I fit down there!". It turned out I COULD lay there, if a bit uncomftably, and I found out I could in no way get myself out, but since it was a fake kidnapping they let me out before driving, and even gave us a lift to the station (and I was pretty happy I'd been let out after I experienced their "driving").
It was really fun.
