It's been ages since I've told you anecdotes from my life, so here goes:
Sometimes I think I get away with things because of the way I look. Like the other day. Me and a friend was out in town and I was wearing a slightly… alternative set of clothes. Just imagine lots of sarcastic-teenage-themed badges on grey paired with red pants and a necklace in the leather & pointy bits department. Well, we end up in a store and at some point an older lady starts talking to my friend. Suddenly she turns to me, exclaims that I look nice/pretty/adorable/harmless. She then walks away.
I would have been much more surprised if that hadn't already happened to me once before that day. Maybe my perception of normal clothing is warped, but shouldn't old ladies think I look "dangerous-ish" with that kind of appearance?

Ah, c'est la vie.
