"Urge to flame… rising…" is a reference to "Urge to kill… rising…" from The Simpsons parody of The Shining, which in it's self is probably a parody of The Shining, but I haven't seen the Shining and I have seen the Simpsons.
I think Rosiline pulled her legs under her in panel five, or she has no pelvis.
Also, Emo Shinobi Boy's MySpace makes baby Jesus cry.
And what's the ominous shadow? Dun, dun dun…
