This is actually one of the first jokes I came up with for this comic, but I didn't get a chance to use it until this point.
Since I don't think it will ever come up in the story, the animals you can see in the cages are Peter the tarantula, the tail of Sub-zero the scorpion, Tom the snake, one of the pygmy badgers they raise to feed to Tom (collectively, the badgers are named Hufflepuff, and their cage is decorated in the back with shelf paper with mushrooms on it) and one of their four turtles. I think you can guess their names.
