The line "What? It was an idea, not a plan!" was added at the last minute, as a reference to "Boyfriend" http://www.drunkduck.com/Lovecraft_Yaoi/5357881/ , in which Lysander lost his planning privlages.
And the line "Are you talking about that time we gave him Hi-chew and he ate the wrapper?" just hangs a lampshade on something that's been bugging me for ages. "In Who Indeed?"
http://www.drunkduck.com/Lovecraft_Yaoi/5137068/ Lysander eats Hi Chews by sticking the wrapper in his mouth and pushing the candies in, paper and all. To this day I don't know why he did that.
Also, he already emptied the sack of penny candy he had at the beginning of this storyline. Maybe that explains his grasp on science.
