"Lullaby Tiny Tales" is a series of short vignettes set loosely in the Lullaby universe.
In the Lullaby universe souls just sorta float around freely. Sometimes they get coated in stardust till they're too heavy, then fall down as shooting stars on a planet, like on Cororo. Those are the Starborn.
In this case here however, the soul maker gathers the souls itself and creates life from them. The Makerborn don't have individual life cores like the Starborn, they share their life with the soul maker. Similar to how the cave dwellers inside Mighty Gourge share their life with Gourge's core.
