Rant of the day

This comic has LESS anime influence in it compared to old comics I made (maybe you noticed that already). I dunno… maybe because I've gotten less exposure to the anime and manga "culture". In the Philippines, anime and manga just SURROUNDS you that there is NO WAY you will be able to isolate yourself from it. But now I just watching the occassional Naruto and Bleach because my brother and a few friends watch them.

And on the other hand, I'm getting more and more exposure to the news… and I find myself obsessively reading stuff during my breaks (I can afford lots of breaks at work now since there is very little work to do).

Everything… from both mainstream news to alternative news (or conspiracy wackos to some of you)…

Anyway, some particular stuff that interest me:
- Virginia Tech, school shootings, depression, etc…
- 9-11, al Quaeda, islamic terrorism, etc…
- Catholicism, and other religious issues…
- Aliens and UFOs and possible existence of alternate worlds…
- North Korea, communism, socialism, etc…
- Philippine politics
- USA and Canada politics (notice they are the butt of conspiracies)
- Alex Jones and Jeff Rense stuff.
- Other psychology and sociology articles (both mainstream and alternative).
- Practical stuff… about cars, home improvement, etc…
- Military stuff… includes tactics and equipment. As a car lover, I also like tanks, jets, battleships, guns, and other machines…

So if you have any recommended reads (be it books or URLs)… post em here.
