RANT OF THE DAY

Little things like the way you walk, talk, how you stand up straight, etc… can impact how people will respect you. That is why even in the workplace, I still act out tough (without being arrogant and getting in other people's faces). It doesn't apply much in my office job because I often work in isolation.

But in the auto garage… at first people were giving me shit even if I never did anything wrong. But after a little asserting myself and changing the little things (walk always in a snappy manner or like a gangsta who doesnt give a f*ck, chest out, stomach in, chin up, shoulders straight, always talk in a slow and deep voice, etc…) nobody really gave me shit.

But I'm still annoyed with that 'asshole' I talked about in previous rants… his attitude and general arrogance even annoys customers and I still feel he deserves to get beaten up. I just hope he wont get in my face because I might not be able to control myself.

Maybe my body language was a wuss because I was a complete noob at first and because of the nervousness at being in a 'new' job. So yeah… I just mentioned part of what those "how to get laid" and "how to be successful" books tell you.
