Rant of the Day

Today's rant is about idolization of a person. For a person to be idolized, he/she is usually very intelligent and has done significant things to affect current events, or simply has very intelligent ideas about things, or excels in a particular field.

Also, it doesnt need to be some famous person that people idolize. It could be a family member or a friend who they think is soooo cool that they'd look up to him/her. Something like that.

Idolizing a person can give you satisfaction because now you feel that there is this great person who embodies your thoughts. That there is this great person who can be such a role model for you.

But on the other hand, idolizing a person isn't really a good idea. Because its gonna hurt if you are betrayed by the person you idolize, or if you're used as just a stupid little pawn in order to forward their own agenda.

In my case, I still have this remnants of my "herd programming" that is why I still have this stupid urge to idolize people like David Icke, Barbara Marciniak, Erle Argonza, Alex Jones, Jesus Christ, Dr. Jose Rizal, etc. etc. etc.

So yeah. I SHALL DESTROY WHAT REMAINS OF MY HERD MENTALITY!!!

So that I truely will be free. :)

@SarahN - when I was designing those swords, I was thinking "all seeing eye" in the back of the dollar bill, as well as ancient egypt.

@magickmaker - thanks for pointing that out. I'm a little awkward drawing hands. Though I know I'd be drawing lots of em in BK[NSFW] (a planned comic strip) since its gonna be a plotless comic that has nothing but doing it and fetishes.

@Aussie_kid - I'm curious as to what specific beliefs you modified from the original Catholic doctrine. Just pm me if you wish. I'm not the type who gives you shit about your beliefs.
