Rant of the Day

I sure am Catholic on paper (I was born into a Catholic family… had to be baptized, indoctrinated, and all) but inside I AM NOT. My parents and grandparents are the strict devout Catholics, my younger brothers are just going along to get along, and my 20 year old brother is an atheist (but pretending to be Catholic).

My parents are so hardcore. The type who believes other Christian denominations and other religions are inferior or false. The type who would get angry at the slightest criticism of the Catholic Church. In my opinion, they are so far gone.

It doesnt matter if I show them bible verses or scientific proof or newspaper articles, they wont accept it. Unless it comes from the Pope (I suspect the Vatican to be involved with the New World Order, but at the same time maybe the Vatican has its own agenda that is contrary to the NWO thats why its being singled out for pedophilic priests in the news and bashed by the mainstream media. Being PRO-LIFE is surely against the NWO plan to eradicate 90% of the world population through sterilization, vaccines, poisoning the food and water, creating wars, manipulating the weather, etc.).

They're really so highly brainwashed that its sad.

But I just have to go along to get along around them. Because I want them to have peace. I can pretend to be as hardcore as them just to give them peace of mind.

Because this is how a hardcore Catholic thinks. Parents think it is their SACRED DUTY to make sure that the children are properly indoctrinated and part of the flock. Because they believe they have an accounting for that to God if I go to hell.

Therefore they wont have peace of mind knowing the truth about me. During my atheist phase, they literally could not sleep.

@SarahN - Baking is more healthy than microwaving food. But who am I to talk when I eat microwaved food in the office. Need to go fast.
